Building Bridges through Education and Conservation
with Southern International School in Hatyai In an effort to further engage the youth of Thailand, IVCA is partnering with Southern International School in Hatyai on Friday, February 28th at the Phadam Camp and Forest.
We invite the children and staff to join us for a full day of fun and activities centered around lessons of conservation and a tree-planting project. Our goal is to educate the children on the importance of our natural world and what we can do to protect and restore it.
We will begin by inviting them to the camp and teaching them various vocabulary related to the environment. Next, we will head to the Phadam Forest, embark on a nature walk with a scavenger hunt to the site, then each student will plant a couple of trees to help support our reforestation efforts.
We will enjoy lunch under the canopy of trees around us and walk back with pride and knowing that each tree planted is one step closer to healing the forest and our world as well.
If you are interested in participating in an activity
We are happy to have you join the team.
